Charles Hosey was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating summa cum laude from Norwich University with his undergraduate degree, earning the George C. Marshall Leadership award. Charles would also earn a secondary degree in German at Universität der Bundeswehr München (German Military Academy) in Munich, Germany during this time. Following his undergraduate studies, Charles was commissioned into the Army as a Medical Service Corps Officer and served at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of the Army, including in Joint and multinational coalition headquarters. Charles led operations both in the United States and Afghanistan, commanding soldiers both in combat, noncombat, and diplomatic roles. Charles retired in 2018 at the rank of Captain with awards and decorations including the Army Bronze Star Medal, Expert Field Medical Badge, Airborne wings, NATO Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal.        

              Charles would go on to St. Mary’s University School of Law, earning his law degree cum laude. Charles specializes in Alternative Dispute Resolution, earning recognition at the national level for skills in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations. ​
